Training with kids at home.45 minutes, planned for you.

The reason parents stop training isn't motivation; it's that a gym session has no edges. F45 has edges: 45 minutes, a workout already on the screens, a coach who sets your weights, and a booked slot on the calendar. Take the 5:15 before the house wakes up, the 8:30 after drop-off, or an evening class after dinner. Your first class is free.

The three parent slots

  • 5:15 or 6:15 AM. Done and showered before anyone needs breakfast. Showers are on site. The 5:15 has its own page: 5 AM classes.
  • 8:30 AM. Drop-off, park outside the door at 9600 Stirling Rd, class, and you’re out by 9:20 with the rest of the morning intact.
  • Evenings. After dinner, after the other parent is home. Weekday classes run through the evening; see the schedule for tonight’s.

Weekends: 7:00, 8:05 and 9:10 on Saturday; 7, 8, 9 and 10 on Sunday. One parent trains, the other has the kids, then swap. Both first classes are free.

Why the fixed length is the whole point

An open gym session expands to fill whatever time you don’t have. You walk in with a vague plan, lose ten minutes to a machine someone is using, and leave feeling like you didn’t really train. F45 is 45 minutes to the minute: coached warm-up, timed stations with a demo screen at each, cool-down, done. The workout is different every day and a coach sets your weights, so there is nothing to plan in the car.

That’s also what makes it survivable for months. Three booked classes a week that always end on time is a habit; six open-ended sessions is a plan you’ll abandon by the second week of school.

Starting again after a long gap

Most parents walking in haven’t trained properly in years. That’s fine. Every station is scaled: the coach sets your weights, every jump has a step version, every run has a bike or rower option, and stations are timed rather than counted, so nobody is waiting on you. Go easier than you think for two weeks and go more often than feels necessary. Getting back into the gym covers the ramp-up; how many times a week covers the number.

Memberships are month to month with no contract and no sign-up fee, so a school-year that goes sideways doesn’t lock you into anything. Teachers get a discounted rate with ID; see discounts.

Parents' questions

How do parents fit F45 in?

By picking a slot that doesn't move. The 5:15 or 6:15 AM class is done before the house wakes up; the 8:30 AM lands right after drop-off; the evening classes work after dinner. Every class is exactly 45 minutes, the workout is planned for you, and you book it like an appointment, so it happens without a decision.

Is there childcare at the studio?

No, the studio doesn't run childcare. That's why the schedule matters: the early-morning classes and the 8:30 AM after drop-off are the parent slots, and the weekend 7, 8, 9 and 10 AM classes let one parent train while the other has the kids.

Can I bring my kid to watch?

Ask the coach when you book. The floor is busy with moving equipment during class, so it depends on the age and the day; the coaches will tell you honestly.

What if I have to cancel last minute?

Cancel in the app or text the studio as early as you can and the spot goes to someone else. Kids get sick; the coaches know that. Come to the next one.

I haven't trained since before the kids. Where do I start?

Take the free first class and tell the coach it's been a while. They set your weights lighter than you'd pick, every move has an easier version, and stations are timed so you're never holding anyone up. Three classes a week is a real start.

Can both parents train at the same time?

Yes, if you've got cover for the kids. Book the same slot, tell the coach you're together, and you'll start on the same rotation. Both first classes are free.
