What the membership buys

Every class is coached by two people on the floor, the workout is programmed daily so you never repeat one, and each station has a demo screen. The membership also covers the InBody scanner for body-composition tracking, HYROX training every other Saturday, Run Club every other Sunday, and showers on site. That is the difference between the monthly price of a coached studio and an open gym — you are paying for the coaching, and it is in every session.

The cost-per-month comparison with an open gym is on F45 vs Retro Fitness; the cost-per-session comparison with private coaching is on F45 vs a personal trainer. How the trial works is on the pricing page.

Cost questions

How much does F45 cost in Cooper City?

The first class is free — a full 45-minute session, no card on file. After that, memberships are month to month with no contract and no sign-up fee, and the rate depends on how many classes a week you want. Rates aren't published on this site; a coach quotes you in about two minutes after your free class or over the phone at (954) 745-4517.

Why don't you just list the prices?

Because the right plan depends on how often you'll train, and quoting one number without that conversation leads people to the wrong plan. The free class is the studio's way of letting you decide whether it's worth anything before you talk money at all.

What determines the price?

Mainly how many classes a week your plan includes — from a few classes a week up to unlimited. Every plan is month to month with no sign-up fee. Students, teachers and first responders get a discounted rate with valid ID; the discount is up to $20 off Monthly Unlimited, depending on the plan.

Is there a contract or a sign-up fee?

No contract and no sign-up fee. Memberships are month to month.

What's included in a membership?

Coached 45-minute classes with two coaches on the floor and a new workout every day; demo screens at every station; the InBody body-composition scanner; HYROX training sessions every other Saturday; Run Club every other Sunday; showers on site; and booking through the F45 app.

Are there discounts?

Yes — students, teachers and first responders get a discounted membership rate with a valid ID, up to $20 off Monthly Unlimited depending on the plan. Details on the discounts page.

Can I pay with my HSA or FSA?

Memberships can often be paid with pre-tax HSA/FSA dollars via a Letter of Medical Necessity — ask the front desk.

How does F45 compare on price to other gyms in Cooper City?

Per month, an open gym such as Retro Fitness on Griffin Road costs less — their Cooper City page lists no-commitment plans from about $25 to $40. F45 costs more per month because you're paying for two coaches and a programmed workout every session. The fairer number is cost per workout you actually do; see the F45 vs Retro Fitness comparison.

What's the cheapest way to try it?

The free first class. No card, nothing to cancel. If you then join, there's no sign-up fee and you can stop any month.
